Our Church community and those in their sphere of influence.

2.) Why does this ministry exist?
People need food and sometimes find themselves in difficult situations where thinking and executing meal preparation is very difficult or impossible.

3.) How does this ministry fit into the overall vision for the church?
We want to connect with each other within the church and show the love of Christ in our community.

4.) What is the biblical basis for this ministry/Scripture references?
God calls his church to love each other, take care of each other, and carry each others burdens. He also tells us to love our neighbor as ourself and to do good to all. We are to live out our faith in Christ's love through the way we care for those who don't know Him. Matthew 25:40; Galatians 5:14, 6:2, 6:10; 1 Timothy 5:8; James 2:15-17; Proverbs 22:9; John 13:34-35; 1 John 3:17-18

5.) What are we attempting to accomplish in this ministry?
We want to build up and support our church community so as to live like family as Jesus commanded. Also to help those who don't know Jesus see His love through our joy and willingness to meet their needs through food.

Team Roles:
Individual Meal/Potluck Coordinator: OPEN
Discern/Consult with Pastor Vinnie when circumstances warrant a meal plan. Gather logistical information for meal deliveries/potlucks. Create meal/potluck sign-up in web portal. Follow-up on progress of sign-ups to make sure needs are being met.
Communication: Phyllis Crist
Gather logistical information for meal deliveries/potlucks. Email/Post on all church media sites the sign-up portal created by Director and Communicate with Director any problems or needs with sign-up.
