The Bible clearly teaches us that groups of people who were followers of Jesus formed
communities of faith that “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the
fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42
The Bible also teaches us that we only find our true lives in Christ when we follow
His example by laying down our lives for others. (Matthew 10:39). We believe we
do this best as a team, working together to bless and influence the community in
which we live. To us, becoming a part of the VLCC team means we publically devote
ourselves to accomplishing our vision and values “to being passionate followers
of Jesus Christ in today’s world.”
